Recently, Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China issued High efficiency particulate air filter (GB/T 13554-2020) (hereinafter referred to as the new standard), which would be implemented from February 1, 2021. The new standard was applicable to filters used in air supply and exhaust purification systems and equipment at normal temperature.
In order to facilitate understanding of the main contents of this revision and earnestly implement it, the relevant changes of the standards are now interpreted as follows:
Scope:
The new standard stipulates the classification and marking, materials, structure and production environment, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of high-efficiency air filters and ultra-high-efficiency air filters (hereinafter referred to as "filters").
Biggest highlight:
The new standard has made new regulations on filter efficiency, and the grades are more detailed. The original grades were A, B, C, D, E and F, and now they are changed to high-efficiency filters of 3 grades: 35, 40 and 45, and ultra-efficient air filters of 6 grades: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75.
