Ms. Han Liming, Mayor of Nanjing, and the heads of some departments of the municipal government visited MayAir for inspection and guidance on the afternoon of February 24. Mayor Han was accompanied by Li Shigui, secretary of Jiangning District, Shen Jianrong, deputy mayor of Nanjing, other persons chiefly in charge from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Municipal Health Commission, the General Office and the Government Research Office of the Municipal Government, and leaders of Jiangning District Government.

Mayor Han Liming and other leaders chose MayAir as key enterprises in Nanjing to inspect the work resumption. Jiang Li, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MayAir, and Yap Wee Keong, General Manager, warmly received Mayor Han and his party.

Mayor Han and his party visited MayAir factory to learn about the company, focusing on the development history, technical capabilities, its operation since the Covid-19 and its production resumption after the Spring Festival. Jiang Li, Chairman of the Board of Directors, reported that MayAir resumed work on the third day of the Chinese New Year and resumed production in an all-round way on the seventh day through the efforts of all parties and MayAir staff.

During the visit to the exhibition hall, Chairman Jiang Li introduced to Mayor Han in detail the technology and market leading position of the company in the extremely clean environment fields such as nano-scale chips, large flat panel displays, GMP pharmaceuticals and hospital negative pressure systems. MayAir transformed and applied ultra-clean technology to commercial and living environment, biosafety, medical and health fields, and vigorously developed waste gas emission and cooking fume treatment, and strived to provide air purification solutions with better product life-cycle cost.

Mayor Han highly recognized the air environmental protection product technology and R&D capabilities of MayAir. She was especially interested in the development of high-end clean fields, medical and health sectors and waste gas treatment systems. Mayor Han believed that MayAir’s future development was worth looking forward to with the vigorous development of the big health industry, the deepening of the demand for medical and epidemic prevention, and the deep technical cultivation of the environmental protection market.

Secretary Li Shigui said that for good enterprises like MayAir, the local government departments at all levels in Jiangning District should vigorously support their development in all aspects such as enterprise land use.
